Welcome to my home page.  I am an entertainment lawyer specializing in independent films, turned neighborhood activist, turned Santa Monica public official, turned local columnist, turned self-proclaimed urbanist, and a writer about all those things. My first book, Urban Worrier: Making Politics Personal, a collection of columns I wrote for The Lookout News, is being published by The City Image Press in June 2009. I also produced one independent motion picture myself, an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Notes from Underground.  As this website grows, I hope it will become a useful site for my clients and a virtual gathering place for people with similar interests.  Please look around.
